On Monday, Monique Mead from the Awareness and Wellness Center of Pittsburgh visited The Beacon to deliver a sound bath program to several Beacon members. The teens (and staff!) were left feeling calm, refreshed, and relaxed! Thanks to Monique for providing a high-quality, engaging sensory experience!
On Wednesday, The Beacon made its debut at Dice Friends, our Clubs in Schools program at Allderdice High School! The teens made snowflakes that we collaged to create one larger snow globe, as to mimic each person’s unique and beautiful differences.
